Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026
These terms apply to the download index, setup guides, and reference materials on clash-guard.com. Please review the scope of use and responsibilities below before accessing this site or using its materials. Third-party software, subscriptions, and network services may have separate terms; please review those as well.
1. Content and scope
This site curates download links, installation steps, YAML fields, and network troubleshooting tips for clients in the Clash ecosystem. Its content is for educational and technical reference only. The site’s brand name does not mean that it develops any of these clients or core projects, or that it is authorized by, represents, or partners with them.
Configuration snippets illustrate fields and syntax; they are not complete solutions for every device. Results may vary depending on the operating system, client implementation, and core version. Read the software’s prompts and understand each setting before making changes. Documentation does not guarantee results for any particular network environment or use case.
2. Legal use and user responsibilities
Users must comply with the laws and regulations where they live and in any jurisdiction affected by their use, as well as the rules set by device owners, network administrators, and relevant services. Do not use this site or the software it describes for illegal activities, to infringe others’ rights, access systems without authorization, or disrupt network operations.
Get the necessary authorization before changing system proxy, DNS, routing, or TUN settings on devices managed by an employer, school, or another person. You are responsible for confirming that you are legally permitted to use the software and network resources in question. The fact that an action is technically possible does not mean it is legally permitted or authorized by the device or network administrator.
3. Third-party software and services
The software described on this site is provided by its respective open-source projects or developers. They determine its features, release schedule, maintenance, and license terms. Download links and instructions may change when upstream projects update their releases. We cannot guarantee that every link will remain available or that all software will work with your device.
Subscriptions, proxy nodes, and other external network services are not provided by this site. Purchases, accounts, data usage, privacy, and refunds are matters between users and the service provider, governed by their agreement. External links are provided for reference or downloads only and do not constitute a guarantee of service quality.
4. Operational risks and disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, materials are provided as is, without guarantees of software availability, connection stability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for connection interruptions, data loss, or other damages caused by third-party software defects, expired subscriptions, network changes, or user configuration, except where liability cannot be excluded or limited by law.
Back up your existing configuration and record your original settings before importing a configuration, updating software, or enabling network takeover features. Subscription URLs may contain access credentials; do not share them publicly. Remove sensitive information from logs and screenshots before submitting them. If something goes wrong, stop and restore your original settings rather than making repeated changes that could worsen the issue.
5. Intellectual property and open-source licenses
Software names, trademarks, logos, and source code remain the property of their respective rights holders. Each open-source project is governed by its own declared license. A license covering one core does not automatically apply to every graphical client, bundled resource, or third-party service. Describing software on this site does not change ownership of any rights.
Before using, modifying, or redistributing software, review the license files included with the relevant project and follow any applicable requirements, such as retaining copyright notices or providing source code. The software licenses do not automatically apply to documentation written by this site. Credit sources when quoting materials, and do not falsely claim to represent a project or this site.
6. Changes to these terms and feedback
These terms may be revised to reflect changes in the site’s content, upstream projects, or legal requirements. The complete revised text and updated month will be posted at the top of this page. Revisions apply to use from the date they are posted, subject to any legal requirements. Review this page before using the site; if you do not accept the terms, stop using the relevant content.
For setup help, see the FAQ or check your settings with the quick start guide. Report third-party software defects or disputes with external services through the relevant provider’s official support channels. Do not include full subscription URLs, passwords, or personal account details in public feedback.
